ì. The Danes have made it clear (Copenhagen telno 433) that a Danish citizenship scheme for Hong Kong is not on. But they are evidently still considering the possibility of guaranteeing Danish residency permits to some Hong Kong people. The Ambassador's assessment is that this has not been ruled out.

2. Other countries which are considering a residence permits scheme (for employees of their companies in Hong Kong) include: Belgium, France, FRG, New Zealand and Sweden.
