ANGLO-ITAITAN SUMMIT: 23 FEBRUARY
1.
The Anglo-Italian Summit on 23 February will involve the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary only. The Prime Minister will have a 11⁄21⁄2 hour session with Andreotti during which the Secretary of State will have separate talks with De Michelis. There will then be a plenary, a press conference, and a working lunch.
2. As usual we need to give No 10 a PS letter and to prepare standard briefs for the Secretary of State. Departments will wish to consider what points/subjects should be for the Prime
