Hong Kong Bill of Rights

8.

The Hong Kong Bill of Rights is as follows.

Article 1

Entitlement to rights without distinction

(1) The rights recognized in this Bill of Rights are enjoyed

without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language,

religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, prope

property, birth or other status.

(2) Men and women have an equal right to the enjoyment of all

civil and political rights set forth in this Bill of Rights.

Article 2

Right to life

(1) Every human being has the inherent right to life. This

right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily

deprived of his life.
