No right to elected Executive or Legislative Council
13. Article 21 does not require the establishment of an elected
Executive or Legislative Council in Hong Kong.
Temporary savings
14. (1) This Ordinance does not affect any legislation enacted
or made before the commencement of this Ordinance or any act done
under any such legislation, including an act done in the exercise of
a discretion.
(2) This Ordinance does not affect any provision referred to in
the Schedule or any act done under any such provision, including an
act done in the exercise of a discretion.
(3) The Legislative Council may by resolution amend the
Schedule by including in it a reference to any provision in
legislation enacted or made before the commencement of this
Ordinance.
(4)
Subsections (1) and (3) shall expire 1 year after the
commencement of this Ordinance.
(5) Subsection (2) shall expire 2 years after the commencement
of this Ordinance unless the Legislative Council by resolution
