EXECUTION OF REQUESTS

1. In accordance with its laws, the Requested Party shall take whatever steps appear to it to be necessary to give effect to a request received from the Requesting Party and shall respond to the

request as soon as practicable after it has been received.

(2.

The Central Authority of the Requested Party shall:

promptly inform the Central Authority of the Requesting

Party of any circumstances which are likely to cause a

significant delay in responding to the request;

(b) promptly inform the Central Authority of the Requesting

Party of a decision of the Requested Party not to comply

in whole or in part with a request for assistance and the

reason for that decision.
