Please refer to Hong Kong telno 2460, paras 11-15 of which asked for information about the Schengen Agreement. In FCO telno 1552, we undertook to supply this after wider consultation here.

I now enclose a letter from Robert McBride of B6 Division in the Home Office and a copy of the Schengen Convention (in French we do not as yet have an English version). I hope that these will answer your questions. If you need any more information please do not hesitate to get in touch.
