You asked for a note on key dates for PADS related

decisions and contracts.

2. The note handed over by the Hong Kong Government to the Chinese is attached.

3. The note states (page 4) that "very important" decisions on the airport railway, the two runways and the overall timing of the airport project will be taken "in early 1991". It is no more specific than that.

The note does however set out a timetable for tenders
