Do forgive me for not having written before now to thank you for giving up so much of your time to me. It was good to see you again.
Your advice was helpful in the extreme and arrangements have now been made for me to call on Peter Heap when I am in Hong Kong.
I mentioned to you that I should be calling in to Tokyo for a few days and I shall of course be touching base with the Embassy. Since then my plans have changed and instead of returning to London from Hong Kong I shall be going on to North America for two or three days.
I should like us to stay in touch and do hope that at some future date you may be able to be our guest at one of the inevitable round of evening functions of chicken and ice-cream!
