it or responsible for it, the act shall constitute the crime of,
as may be appropriate, murder or manslaughter or so being
accessory.
(2) In this section "act" means an act of commission or an
act of omission and includes a series of acts.

Amendment of section 6 of Consular Relations Ordinance
Section 6 of the Consular Relations Ordinance (Cap. 259) is
amended by adding after subsection (3)
-
"(4)--Neither section 23B of the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200)
nor section 8B or 9 of the Offences against the Person Ordinance
(Cap. 212) shall be construed as affecting this section.".
5.
Cesser
(1) None of the enactments specified in subsection (2) shall
apply in relation to -
(a)
any act within the meaning of section 23A of the
Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200) which constitutes an
offence by virtue of section 23B(1), (2) or (3) of
that Ordinance;
(b) any offence described in section 23B(4) of that
Ordinance; or
(c) any act within the meaning of section 8B of the
Offences against the Person Ordinance (Cap. 212),
which, by virtue of that section, constitutes a crime
specified in that section.
