EXERCISE EXPANDED SEA 90: HONG KONG REGISTERED SHIPPING
1. Thank you for your letter of 11 January and attachment.
2. I can confirm that there is no objection to the inclusion of Hong Kong registered shipping in Exercise Expanded Sea 90 and you are free to write to the shipping companies as proposed.
3. The Hong Kong authorities have, however, put down a marker that they may wish to discontinue the participation of HK register shipping in such exercises once their new register is introduced in 1992.
