BUSINESS STATEMENT: 19 JULY 1990

EBRD ORDERS IN COUNCIL : FINANCIAL SERVICES AND THE SINGLE MARKET: NUCLEAR NON-PROLIFERATION TREATY: HONG KONG IVORY: ANGLO-IRISH AGREEMENT

1.

Sir Geoffrey Howe announced that the two EBRD Orders in Council will be debated on Tuesday 24 July. There will be a debate on financial services and the single European Market on Monday 15 October (the day the House resumes after the Summer Adjournment.

2.

Following the Business Statement:

a) Bob Cryer asked for a debate on the Nuclear

Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Tony Banks raised EDM 1275 in Hong Kong Ivory.

Rev. William McCrea asked for a debate on the Anglo-Irish Agreement.
