I request you to notify the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, by delivery on 17 July 1990 of a Note on the lines of the attached draft, of the wish of the Government of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to withdraw a reservation against the listing on Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora of the African elephant, Loxodonta Africana.
