In view of the heterogeneous nature of retained imports, the changes in real terms not sufficiently reliable to be quoted
publicly.
The series is included merely to
provide a rough indication of the trend. Retained
imports of
manufacturing use showed an increase of about 7%
in the third quarter of 1990. In the first and
