May I seek your assistance in obtaining early replies to letters I have written to the FCO's legal advisers in respect of three matters? These matters are

the Den Norske Bank Bill (letters sent by

on 22 January and 19 February 1990); and

the Merchant Shipping (Liner Conferences) (Hong Kong) Order (letters sent by me on 28 December 1989, and 22 February and 13 March 1990).

I have received no replies or acknowledgments in relation to any of these letters. All three matters are now urgent.
