I enclose, strictly for your personal information, copies of recent Ministerial correspondence about the future of the Gurkhas. This arose, as you will recall, from concerns which you expressed during your visit here earlier in the year. am afraid that, for reasons beyond HKD's control, the correspondence was delayed.
