I enclose herewith copies of recent correspondence on the above to bring you up to date on where we are as regards the funding of the Peacocks' operating costs between 1992 and 1997.

You will see that we await a reply to my letter of 30 July 1990. Whilst I am aware that Richard Hatfield is busy with Middle Eastern affairs, it would be helpful if MOD could respond so that this matter can (hopefully) be brought to a mutually satisfactory conclusion. Any assistance you can give in expediting a reply would be helpful.
