RN PATROL CRAFT IN HONG KONG

1. As agreed at Friday's DCA meeting with the HKG, I attach the draft of a telegram to Ian Wotherspoon in Security Dept, confirming the position of HMG on the future of the patrol craft.

2. I should be grateful for comments by 1200 today 19 March please. Apologies for the short notice, but I am anxious to get this to hong Kong by tomorrow morning their time. Telephone calls will be fine.
