THE HONG KONG STEERING COMMITTEE (HKSC) MEETING

1. The next meeting of the HKSC will be held on Thu 12 Jul 90 in the Marbled Hall, Northumberland House, Northumberland Avenue at 1000 hours. The Marbled Hall is situated on the ground floor of Northumberland House immediately opposite the main entrance.
2. The Agenda for the Meeting is at Annex A. Members are requested to confirm their attendance or representation by 5 Jul 90. If there are any additional points for the Agenda, these should be forwarded by 25 Jun 90.
3.
The preparation and staffing of the 1991 Major Review of the Outline Withdrawal Plan is a topic for discussion during the meeting. A working group led by the D Cts Staff and composed of DIS and Single Service representatives has suggested the framework and staffing timetable attached at Annex B for the COS paper. The Chairman will be inviting members of the HKSC to propose amendments/additions to this framework at the meeting and seeking their endorsement of the plan before work starts on the production of the paper.
