debt for developing countries, for human rights and religious liberty and for the inter-related concepts of peace with justice in stable societies underline much of our agenda. Your officials will have on file the various positions taken by the churches on these and other matters through the Council over these past years.
May I reiterate our good wishes to you personally and express the hope that you will feel able as time and opportunity allows to continue the fruitful relationship with the Council which hitherto has been of much value to the churches.
