Joint Declaration

As requested in your letter of 12 January, I enclose 20 copies of the blue hardback version of the Joint Declaration and 30 copies of the white booklet. Our stocks of the hard- backed version are strictly limited whereas we can easily get the white booklets reprinted. Could I ask you therefore to restrict issuing the hardback version as far as possible.

I should be happy to obtain a further supply for Peking should they need it.
