2. Thank you for sending us the bill so promptly. There are however a number of small discrepancies between the items appearing on the bill and those actually provided:

(i)

we had no tea on 25 September;

(ii) we only had two sets of 24 sandwich lunches at £2.00 per head (on 25 and 28 September);

(iii) I understand that Ms Major agreed with you on the telephone that the sandwiches which were provided on

26 September would be charged at £1.00 per head.

I have amended the bill in red. The new total is £252.20.

I should be most grateful if you could let me have a new statement revised accordingly.
