Mr Sainty is minuting you separately about discrepancies between the bill you sent us and our understanding of what was delivered.

2. Meanwhile I should like to to raise with you the way in which the KCS Restaurant has dealt with this Department during the week. I realise we have placed additional orders to those sent earlier. But I hope you realise that, during a high level meeting, a need for extra sessions of talks or unexpected breaks can arise. Whenever we have made extra orders, we have been prepared to collect flasks and crockery ourselves and, where possible, to make do with the same crockery used earlier. I hope that, in future, you might take a more cooperative attitude. I understand that, when we first requested extra coffee, you swore at one of my colleagues. In the end I had to leave the meeting and come to the Restaurant myself and the coffee was provided. do not see that there was any need to take an aggressive attitude. I appreciate that you were under pressure in a busy week. So were we.
