Sir,
Acting on instructions from Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, I enclose herewith, for deposit in the archives of the Customs Co-operation Council, the Instrument of Ratification by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of the Customs Convention concerning Facilities for the Importation of Goods for Display or Use at Exhibitions, Fairs, Meetings or Similar Events, adopted by the Council on the 8th of June, 1961 and signed for the United Kingdom on the 27th of February, 1962.
In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 19 of the Convention I hereby declare on behalf of the United Kingdom that the application of the Convention shull extend to the Isle of Man, Jersey and the Eailiwick of Guernsey.
