Actide on instructions from Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, I enclose herewith, for deposit in the archives of the Customs Co-operation Council, the Instrument of Ratification by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of the Customs Convention on the Temporary Importation of Professional Equipment, adopted by the Council on the 8th of June, 1961 and signed for the United Kingdom on the 27th of February, 1962.

In accordance with the provisions of

I paragraph 5 of Article 15 of the Convention, hereby declare that the United Kingdom will be bound in respect of Annexes A, B and C of the Convention.

I further declare on behalf of the United Kingdom, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 19, that the application of the Convention shall extend to the Isle of Man, Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
