The Customs

Convention concerning Facilities for
Importation of Goods for Display or Use at Exhibitions, Fairs, Meetings or Similar Events 1961 (the "Convention")
sets out provisions whereby the parties agree to grant admission to goods for display or demonstration at
well as equipment for use at international meetings under specified conditions (Articles 2 and 3). It also sets out conditions of re-exportation (Article 4) and

goods for display and demonstration which are consumed or destroyed during an event, publicity material and documents for use at international meetings (Article 6). They also undertake to simplify customs formalities in connection with the facilities provided for in the Convention (Article 8).

of Hong Kong on 14 December 1973 (text at Annex B).
