Further to paragraph 2 of our telno 4271 dated 3 December 1989 we have promised Pamela Major a revised and updated list of multilateral treaties applying to Hong Kong. We need HKD to help screen this list in connection with certain questions put to us by the Chinese at JLG XIV on outstanding papers for the IRO Sub-group. To save time, and bearing in mind our desire to respond to these questions as soon as possible, I would be most grateful if you could deliver the enclosed list to Pamela. in anticipation.
