I enclose a letter from Mr Somboon Chareonridhi of the

Department of Agriculture, Thailand, asking for information

"quarantine pests" in preparation for the first meeting

of the Standing Committee on Plant Quarantine of the Asia

and Pacific Plan Portection Commission (APPPC),

This seems to me to be a matter for Hong Kong, and I have

written to Mr Chareonridhi to this effect (copy enclosed).

Please forward this letter to the appropriate authorities.
