1. I apologise for writing to you again on this subject as I realise it is probably not one with which you deal. explained in my letter to you of 8 May, we are unclear who does deal with this subject.

2. I enclose a letter from Mr Somboon Chareonridhi of the Department of Agriculture, Thailand, which the ODA has asked me to forward to the Hong Kong Government for reply. I also enlose a copy of the ODA's holding letter to Mr Chareonridhi. I should be grateful if we could see a copy of Hong Kong's reply in due

course.
