PERMITS
CGWIC
The obtaining of all permits, authorizations or notices of non-opposition from all national or international public or private authorities outside China having jurisdiction over the Payload Mission shall be the sole responsibility of the Client, who may nonetheless request assistance in respect thereof from CGWIC. agrees to provide and comply with any and all assurances which it may reasonably and legally be required to provide to the government of the country of origin so that the Client may obtain such permits, authorizations or notices.
The Parties acknowledge that it will be necessary to obtain government permits, authorizations or notices of non-opposition from the government of China regarding the transfer of the Payload and any ancillary equipment from the country of origin to the Xichang Launch Base in China. The obtaining of such permits, authorizations and notices shall be the responsibility of CGWIC, provided that the Client shall render all reasonable assistance to CGWIC that is required to obtain such permits, authorizations and notices. CGWIC acknowledges that the Client will have certain requirements imposed on it or which it wishes to impose in respect of such permits, authorizations and notices and will use its best endeavors to ensure that all such as are obtained comply with such requirements. In particular CGWIC shall use its best endeavors to ensure that any security requirements from the government of China are compatible with the requirements of the Client, its Associates and any government consents or authorizations obtained by the Client.
