1) BNSC would review it's position and inform the FCO and PMG Hong Kong on the preferred route to take.
2) DTI/RD would distribute copies of the papers handed over by Mr Wong.
3)PMG Hong Kong would inform the FCO whether, if action under section 15 (6) was considered necessary to apply the Act generally to Hong Kong, what prior modifications and adaptations Hong Kong would require.
4) PMG Hong Kong would provide BNSC information on the financial structure of the ASIASAT corporation.
5) BNSC would inform Hong Kong on the likely requirements for inspection of the ASIASAT TT&C station in Hong Kong.
6) FCO would inform PMG Hong Kong and BNSC of COCOM's decision regarding the security plan prepared by the US authorities responsible for strategic exports.
7) FCO would confirm that an extension of the Outer Space Act 1986 under section 2 (3) would not require prior consultation with the Chinese before enactment of local legislation.
8) PMG Hong Kong would continue to explore, the feasability of a contractual arrangement. In particular, to inform the FCO and BNSC whether a "contract under seal" is possible under Hong Kong law.
