I have the honour to refer to the Convention on the

Law Applicable to Trusts and on their Recognition

which was opened for signature at The Hague on

1 July 1985 and ratified by the Government of the

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on 17 November 1989

I have the honour to declare that the Government

of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern

Ireland, in accordance with Article 29, wishes to

extend the Convention to The Territory of Hong Kong.

May I request Your Excellency to be good enough to in

form me of the date on which extension to Hong Kong

shall take effect?
