Thank you for copying to me your letter of 26 July to Graham Leicester. I am afraid that we have not updated our personality notes on the HKMAO of the MFA since my letter to you of 17 November 1989. The personality notes enclosed with that letter are, of course, by now somewhat outdated, but Charles Parton might still find them useful to look at.

I am currently setting up personality notes for Chancery's other contacts, MFA and non-MFA, along the lines of those for the HKMAO. As soon as that is completed, I hope in a couple of weeks, I shall ensure that you and Graham are on the distribution list. Once that is out the way, and Carsten Pigott has returned from MTL, I shall turn my attention to updating the HKMAO personality notes.
