1. Thank you for your letter of 14 June enclosing letters of appointment for this year's _secondees. I have added the endorsement as agreed and issued the letters to Superintendents Williams, Hebron and Davies. I enclose a copy of the endorsement for your records.
2. I would like to add that it would be better, as I suggested in paragraph 5 of my letter of 5 October 1989 to Mr Tyzzer, for the endorsement to appear on the same page as the signature on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, to prevent it becoming detached from the letter of appointment. As there was insufficient space on this occasion, I have put the endorsement on a separate sheet.
