HONG KONG SALARIES TAX
This pamphlet explains. in reasonably simpie and general terms, how Salaries Tax is assessed. It gives general particulars of the expenses, deductions and allowances which can be claimed. It sets out the main rights and obligations of employees, and so on. But it cannot cover the subject of Salaries Tax in detail. The contents therefore have no binding force and they cannot be regarded as 2 substitute for the relevant legislation. Further information can always be obtained from the Inland Revenue Department.
The pamphlet incorporates changes proposed in the 1989 Budget which have now become law.
