10. The passage agreement which you are required to sign is enclosed. You are advised to read it carefully, particularly the provisions relating to deductions from salary, etc. Would you please sign the agreement and return all three copies to this Office.
An endorsed copy
of the agreement will be returned for your retention in due course.
11. Your attention is drawn to paragraph 11 and Appendix IV of the Memorandum on Conditions of Service, regarding. baggage allowance. If you wish you may also claim an advance of salary and an essential kit allowance. Claim forms are enclosed for this purpose and should be returned to this Office together with the acceptance proforma.

You are eligible for a refund of all or part of your normal travelling expenses from your home to the airport of departure, and you should submit a claim giving details to the Accountant General on your arrival in Hong Kong (see Appendix III). Following receipt of your acceptance of appointment, a booking will be made for your departure on 17th August 1979.
13. You should ensure that your passport is in order for the journey and arrange for any necessary vaccinations. Requirements in this respect should be checked with British Airways about two months before departure. You must bear
any expenditure incurred with vaccinations.
14. If you require further information about conditions of service or if you experience any difficulty with regard to the appointment, you will have the opportunity to raise questions at a seminar, which will be arranged at this Öffice a few weeks prior to your departure.

A number of Government circulars and leaflets are enclosed for your information and action where appropriate.
16. If you accept the appointment on the conditions outlined in this letter and the accompanying Memorandum on Conditions of Service, please complete the enclosed acceptance proforma and return it together with your completed Passage Agreement
