The Embassy of Ireland presents its compliments to the Protocol

Department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and, with reference to

the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Note of 11 April 1990 stating that

the proposed appointment of Mr. Desmond Anthony Marron as Honorary Consul

of Ireland in Hong Kong would be acceptable to Her Majesty's Government,

has the honour to attach Mr. Marron's Consular Commission, signed by the

Minister for Foreign Affairs.

It would be appreciated if the Foreign and Commonwealth Office could now

arrange for Mr. Marron to be issued with his Exequatur to allow him to

operate officially as Honorary Consul in Hong Kong. For your reference,

Mr. Marron is contactable at:

The Embassy of Ireland avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the
