Protocol Department present their compliments to the Embassy of
Chile and, with reference to the Embassy's Note No FOD 015/90 of
9 May 1990 about the wish of the Chile Government to upgrade the
Honorary Consulate of Chile in Hong Kong to a career Consulate-General,
have the honour to state that there is no objection to this proposal.
Protocol Department avail themselves of this opportunity to express
to the Embassy of Chile the assurance of their high consideration.
