The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey present their compliments to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and with reference to the Embassy's Note dated 9th May, No. 1031/6-97-90 have the honour to inform them that the Turkish Government decided to establish a Consulate General in Hong Kong.
The Embassy would like to be informed whether this decision of the Turkish Government is agreeable to Her Majesty's Government.
The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Foreign and Commonwealth office the assurances of their highest consideration.
