Protocol Department present their compliments to the Embassy of the
Kingdom of Morocco and have the honour to acknowledge the Embassy's
Note No 000394 of 26 June 1990 about the appointment of Mr David Godfrey
as Honorary Consul in Hong Kong.
In order that they may further consider this appointment the Department
would be grateful to receive a curriculum vitae for Mr Godfrey giving
the address from which he would be operating, his date and place of
birth, marital status, nationality, occupation and work experience.
The Department wish to explain that, as a matter of policy, Honorary
Consuls General are no longer being accepted in Hong Kong.
They
regret, therefore, that they cannot agree to the opening of an
Honorary Consulate-General.
Protocol Department avail themselves of this opportunity to express to
the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco the assurance of their high
consideration.
