The High Commission of Malaysia presents its

compliments to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and has the

honour to inform the latter that the Government of Malaysia

proposes to appoint Mr. Mohamad Shaharul Hashri Bin Mahmood,

presently the Consul-General of the Consulate-General of

Malaysia in Songkhla, Thailand, as Commissioner of Malaysia

to Hong Kong.

The High Commission of Malaysia would be grateful

if the Foreign and Commonwealth Office could seek the agre 'ment

of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and

Northern Ireland to the proposed appointment. The curriculum

vitae of Mr. Mohamad Shaharul Hashri Bin Mahmood is enclosed

herewith.

The High Commission of Malaysia avails itself
