To agree with UKG on the terms of land grant for the future BCG.
The JLG meets three times each year to discuss the implementation of the Joint Declaration.
HKG announced its decision on the constitution al reforms for 1991 on 21 March 1990. Current plan is for the amendments to the Letters Patent and Royal Instructions to be considered by the Privy Council on 24 July and for electoral legislation to be introduced into the Legislative Council on 25 July.
Basic terms of land grant has been granted. Hope to consult ExCo in July.
The next JLG meeting will be held from 25-28 September 1990.
