Protection Liaison Group
joint Chairmen. The Liaison Group's main objective is to cooperate on environmental issues affecting both sides.
The Liaison Group held its first meeting in Hong Kong 10-12 July 1990. Broad agreement to improve the environmental problems in Deep Bay reached. A Technical Sub-Group tasked to examine the beneficial uses and submit proposals to the Liaison Group by end December met in Shenzhen on 12 September. Next meeting of the TSG will likely be held in November 1990.
