Pay-Per-View Channels

Our pay-per-view channels will be programmed with released movies. international sporting events and entertainment specials such as musical concerts. Movies will be shown on a regularly scheduled basis. priced competively with video rental stores. Movies will be shown every two hours, although the length of the films will cause this to vary. The films will be blockbuster hits from Hong Kong, U.S.A.. Japan and Europe. The films will be simulcast in both Cantonese and the original language.
Advertising and On-air Promotions

Hong Kong Cable is not planning to have advertising on our pay-per-view channels. However, the use of promotional messages between the programmes is verv important to its success. We will also use cross-promotion on other channels and information in our monthly cable guide to advise customers of the events on these channels.
Distributors
We will
negotiate contracts with distributors
so that We
will be able to show motion pictures six months after theatrical release and at the same time as their release the home video market.

We have had discussions with Time Inc.'s Home Box Office work closely together to create these channels for Hong Kong.

Digital Cable Radio
Hong Kong Cable will offer digital cable radio, a commercial-free premium audio service that offers high quantity digital sound 24 hours a dav. Our caple radio service will provide 10 channels featuring a variety of both international and Cantonese music incinding jazz, rock. classical, DOD and easy listening. This service will provide crystal-clear music comparable to compaer disc quality.
