In the event that an adaptation exercise does get rid of an exemption provision such as that referred to above, whether in the Societies Ordinance or elsewhere, Hong Kong, or ourselves, should endeavour to give warning to the bodies affected so that they can consider how to regularise their position in Hong Kong on the basis of paragraph 3 of TUR or otherwise.
