Six of them had knowledge of mandatory repatriation through hearsay and radio broadcast by voice of Vn.

(a) the news that they would be placed on a deserted island after their arrival in Hong Kong.
(b) 'push-out' policy in Malaysia.
(c) registration no. of the vessel and its owner.
(d) information of other VBP on their way to Hong Kong.
