This group of 18 left HO CHI MINH on 29-3-90. They arrived at HAI PHONG by bus on 2-4-90. Without any rest, they proceeded to HON GAI where they rested for 2 days until 4-4-90. Then, they took a bus to HAI NINH where they had to pay 60,000 Dongs per head to a VN/M for leading them to cross the Sino-Vietnamese border. Upon arrival at DONG XING() of China, each of them had to pay

charge ranging from RMB 800 to 1,300 per head. At last, they chose a trustworthy

one, an ECV/M in name of LIU CHI(t), at a payment of RMB 900 per head. On 22-4-90, the courier conveyed them to FANG CHENG

) by small, boat in order to evade official interception. Then they reached GUANG ZHOU (94) by bus one day later. They changed a bus to TAI PING() where they got on a pre-arranged motorized boat and set sail for Hong Kong immediately. Eventually, they arrived in Hong Kong on 24-4-90 without touching Macao.
