Additional Information
1. They were land-crossers from HAI NINH, to DONG XING (1) of China.
2. They had no knowledge of the followings :-

screening policy
(b) mandatory/forced repatriation

that they would be placed on a deserted island after their arrival in Hong Kong.
3. They chose to come to Hong Kong instead of other countries due to safety reason.

8. Seven stopovers in China. They were inspected by the Chinese officials at FANG CHENG (3/5),
NAN PING(南屏 ) and GUI SHAN DAO ( ). They were fined RMB $70 at FANG CHENG for
illegal entry from Vietnam. However, they were permitted to continue their journey after the penalty. The PRC official at GUI SHAN DAO helped them to purchase another junk for Hong Kong as their junk sank at QING ZHOU DAO.
