These 22 VBP left HO CHI MINH, S.VN. at the end of November 89 in 3 separate groups. They went to MONG CAI via HA NOI and HON GAI, After a brief stopover, they crossed the Sino-Vietnamese border and arrived at DON XING, CHINA. The boatmaster and his family then proceeded to SHANG SHAN JIUA QIAO FARM († 4, #15 農場) of FU JIANG PROVINCE (福建省 ) to visit his uncle for financial assistance. He was given RMB $5,000 by his uncle (I ). On 2-3-90, the group gathered at TAO CHENG FARM, DA XING XIAN, QUANGXI, CHINA ( 中国屣西省大新縣桃城農場 ) where the sister of the boatmaster (t) resided.
During their stay, they encountered Group II and III. They stayed there until 11-3-90 and the party of 29 left the farm. They travelled to WAN QING SHA) of GUANGDONG (h
廣办省 ) by bus. They managed to purchase a boat (by which they arrived Hong Kong)` from a local fisherman at RMB $7,300. On 14-3-90, the group set off from WAN QING SHA and arrived in Hong Kong in the afternoon of 15-3-90.

This group comprised one family and two individuals. They were ECVIIs from China. the exodus in early March this year and went to DA XING XIAN ($44 ) to join the group, Thereafter, they
shared the same itinerary to Hong Kong with Group I.

These two sisters were the nieces of the boatmaster. They were born in China and settled at TAO CHENG FARM ( tik m
) since birth. During the boatmaster's visit, their mother (31) requested him to take the sisters to Hong Kong for a better living. Thus the two sisters were brought to Hong Kong by the boatmaster.
