1. Only 1 of them had knowledge of the screening policy through radio broadcast (BBC).

2. None of them had knowledge of the mandatory repatriation before departure.

3. They all would write back to Vietnam.

4. 4 stopovers in China but had nol encountered any PRC officials.

5. None of them had heard of the news that they would be placed on a deserted island after they had arrived in llong Kong. 6. Total number of unaccompanied minors under the age of 18: NIL

7. There is 1 ex-serviceman who had worked for the U.S.A. from 1966 1970 and for the S.VN from 1971

9. No criminal offence was committed by them in Vietnam.

9. They chose to come to Hong Kong because of safety reason.

10.All of them were land-crossers from Vieluam to China via MÒNG CAT
