Description of Voyage

Boatmaster : TAT CA CAU
The 7 persons of 4 groups fled HO CHI MINH, S.VN. separately in early and mid Dec., 1989 and reached HA NOI, N.VN. by train or bus. after a 3-day voyage. They were all under the escort of their relatives. They proceeded to HAI NINH and crossed the Sino-Vietnamese border until they arrived at DONG XING (? ). CHINA. In late Dec., 1989, they were subsequently led to PING SHA (3) via FANG CHENG (BÍ TA and ZHAN JIANG (1 ) and stayed in their relatives houses at PING SHA FARM DOUMEN XIAN QUANG DONG SHENG CHINA ( G J P g On 5-2-90, they were joint by Group II and had contributed a total of RMB 7,000 80 as to purchase the exodus junk there. They then set sail on the next day and eventually sailed to MACAO on the same night. They continued their journey in the following morning and finally managed to arrive in Hong Kong on 7-2-1990.
